Lauren Verdugo

San Diego, CA

"Art is a means of synthesizing the world around us and it empowers us to shape how our environment affects our daily life."
After working 7 years at the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts, I have started my own career as a multimedia artist/woodworker and currently study under master craftsman, Larry White, as his assistant in his studio in Pioneertown, CA. Additionally, I am a student at San Diego State University pursuing my BA in Applied Design, with an emphasis on Arts Education. Craft has become a part of who I am and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
Wescover creator since 2020
