"All my paintings and drawings are inspired by my travels. As I like to say: Sometimes I travel to paint while others I paint to travel. Most of my inspiration comes from local people I meet in different countries, although recently I am also starting to paint cities and animals I find when travelling. The paintings are usually done with a single line and sometimes I do blind drawings (I draw looking at the subject but not at the paper, that´s why often the shapes are distorted). I am not interested in making a perfect portrait but in capturing the essence. If you would like to have a portrait of yourself in the same style please contact me for a commission. The only thing you have to do is to send me some pictures from you or the people you would like to be painted on the canvas and I will work from there. My work can be found in both private and corporate collections around the world."
