How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"We work a lot at the intersection of function and play. We try to create objects that work and work well but really encourage you to walk around it. View it from every angle. Experience it. Then walk away and think about it and then turn and look at it one more time."
What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?
"The intention of Lahoma is to make furniture that grows with you. The wood used is lasting and sturdy while the custom made brass pieces will patina and change with time. So the more you use our stuff the more your story is told."
What is your favorite material to work with?
"Plastic - we really don't see a reason anyone should make furniture out of plastic."
