Her art career kicked into gear designing and creating custom furniture with her husband Shawn. Pouring pigmented resin, selecting natural materials and using tools of the trade put her smack on an art- path. A passion for painting quickly followed and she took art classes in Germany, concentrating on textured surfaces, using building materials that are commonly found in the restauration of historical buildings.
Kira credits her work to the privilege of having lived in different countries around the world. Smitten by the exquisite and diverse scenery initiated Kira’s passion for abstract paintings and imaginary places.
Born and raised in Germany, Kira resides now in the coastal town of Delaware with her husband and two children.
For over 6 years she has painted up a storm. Her paintings can be found in private collections in the USA and Europe
