Julianne Ross Allcorn ARTIST

Sydney, Australia

"Artist inspired by nature and all it shares with us"
Born in Rabaul, PNG now residing in Roseville, Sydney, NSW, Australia

My two loves in life besides my family are dancing and creating artworks. Without these, I am not whole. Drawing is meditation. Teaching is a reward.

I see movement in colour and endeavour to translate the energy of the natural world either onto birch wood panel, paper and canvas using watercolour, pencil, pastel bringing texture and pattern alive with the colours and hues of the bush.

Spending time walking in the surrounding bush, immersing myself into the sounds, scent of bush in Burralong Valley, Lower Hunter and creating on the verandah there has been a huge inspiration especially with these latest artworks.

Julianne is a highly accomplished practicing artist with works in many collections and has displayed in many groups and solo exhibitions.
