Born July 1971, Atlanta, GA. Since 2000, John Waguespack has had numerous exhibitions in the United States. Waguespack was honored as the inaugural Artist-in-Residence at the Fairmont San Francisco in July 2013 where his piece “Novum Aurora” is a part of the hotel’s permanent collection. His acclaimed work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami both in 2012 and 2013. Waguespack’s artwork has adorned the covers of both San Francisco’s 7×7 magazine and the Nob Hill Gazette.
Waguespack creates abstract, figurative and linear paintings. He has also works in photography using mediums such as glass and aluminum. He is among the 21st Century artists who are strongly influenced by social media and the demands of young collectors, to create art they can relate to.
