Jake was born in 1988 and raised in the Columbia City neighborhood of South Seattle. He currently works as the studio assistant to the artist Peter Millett. Duties include the fabrication of steel and wood sculptures. He loves the great outdoors, sailing and swimming in lake washington, playing soccer and basketball, surfing, eating good food with his family and friends, and the Seahawks.
From a young age, I knew I was meant to be a maker. I have earned a BA in studio art at UC Santa Cruz and spent a year abroad studying at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, Australia.
