I am a visual artist from Quebec City (Canada) born and raised in Switzerland. I graduated with a Master of Architecture and since 2015 I came back to art, starting doing large scales murals and screen printing projects full time. Since one year, I also created my first two public art projects 1% which I feel are complementary to my other mediums. My practice is site specific and I love to travel and change environment for each new project. Every single time, it stimulates my creativity and I love to give a new colourful interpretation of territories, architectures, surroundings, people, history and memories. I translate my understanding with patterns I create to reflect specific details of the environment.
During summer time, I really love to work in heights, have an open studio in the lift so people can observe the large scale murals progresses. During winter time, I moslty spend my time in my private studio where I silk screen print on small paper and sculpt small artworks. I like the contrasts between theses to periods, rhythms and scales.
My public artworks are located across Canada, in Germany and Italy. Recently, my work has been shown in collective exhibitions at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, Scotland and in Leipzig, Germany and solo in Canada. Granted by the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec for printmaking residencies (2014, 2016, 2018), I also have been rewarded by video and mural grants. My artworks are part of Global Affairs Canada's collection, Bibliothèque des Archives nationales du Québec’s heritage collection of artists’ books and private collections.
