Guillaume Alan

Paris, France

Guillaume Alan is born and raised in the world of architecture and interior design, gravitating to his career was natural for Alan.
At just 22, he opened his first design studio in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris and in 2011 a secound studio is launched in Mayfair, London, working on projects based in the UK and aboard.
Among Alan’s earliest design memories are the ordered magnificence of the Louvre’s square courtyard, the Cour Carrée, and the tranquil simplicity of Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion in Spain.
That love of classical purity shines through in his work today, be it architecture, interior design or furniture design.

The places he creates are imbued with serenity, calm, and emotion.

"Custom-made and drawn out, Alan's projects and furniture pieces reflect the quest of the designer for arts and crafts, a great attachment for an exceptional and genuine know-how.

His schemes are tactile and luxurious using fine woods, such as oak or ash, natural marble, brass, raw linen, soft leather, wool, silk, bronze and always focused on a bespoke palette.

How did you discover Creators (designers, artists, makers, etc.) and keep your community growing?

"Instead of the obvious wealth and far away from the trends, Guillaume Alan's studio's approach of luxury occurs in the minimisation of elements, a philosophy to create calm and serenity.

With an aesthetic restraint, the creator believes in the essence of things, a quest for the essential. A value of authenticity.

Working on projects as a whole, undertaking architecture, interior and furniture design, one of the commitment is to share values."
