I was raised in San Francisco, surrounded by art as my father was a painter. After school, seeking some inner truth, I lived in a monastery for two decades. The influence of that contemplative life pervades much of my work even now. Drawn to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I moved to Seattle in 2003. There I studied sculptural anatomy with Kim Beaton and discovered the wonderful properties of clay. I received my first public art commission in 2008. I now live in Louisville, Colorado near the majestic Rocky Mountains, striving to push beyond my artistic limits.Wescover creator since 2020
