Francesco Correggia was born in Catanzaro in 1950 since 1985 he lives and works in Milan. He is a teacher at the Academy of Art in Brera, he is a Member of the Academic Council and Coordinator of the cultural activities of the Department of Visual Arts – Specialist two-year Course at Saint Carpoforo’s ex-church in Milan. His works of art are permanently situated at Institutions of a Museum, such as the Modern Art Museum MAON in Rende (CS), Contemporary Art Museum ’Mattia Preti’, Taverna (CZ), ACG ART Collection – The American Collection College of Greece, Athens. Recently he has published the book for Arcipelago ‚” The sense again”; a passage in the contemporary, between Art and Philosophy – Arcipelago Editions, Milan 2007.
