"Whimsical or serious; glass and ceramic fragments create organic, flowing images within original, custom mosaic works of art."
I began with a hammer and a ceramic tile. Breaking tile can be very therapeutic when you have 3 young children at home. That was over 14 years ago and my technical and design skills have deepened since then. I have multiple solo and group exhibits under my belt now. My mosaics appear in private homes, schools and community spaces. 2012 saw me designing and creating a mural in conjunction with young children from the Disney Cruise Ships that come into Saint John. That piece has a permanent home now in the Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal in Saint John. I had the privilege to be chosen to design and create a mural for the Saint John YMCA in 2015 where I developed my stained glass mosaic style. Summer of 2019 saw the unveiling of a mural for the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, NB. A gem of a theatre that has it's roots in vaudeville times. I have had the fun of holding Residencies in many schools and getting dirty with kids is such a joy. Mosaic brings colour and impact to any space.
