I started my clay-journey when I was 12 or 13 in a small studio in German Village. There I learned how to throw and sculpt, expanding that education in high school. Life steered me away from clay until last year (after about a 10-year hiatus) when I found a studio (and community) at Buckeye Ceramics Supply in Hilliard! Over the last year, my muscles have remembered the motions like riding a bike, my employment changes have allowed me to dedicate more time to learning the craft, and the art community has allowed me to grow in more ways than one. I've really started to figure out where my natural talents take me and where I need to work hard to improve. I'm beginning to understand my own tastes and artistic styles too and look forward to seeing those develop and change the most!
