"Was a German sculptor. Edith Peres-Lethmate learned to handle a variety of woodworking in her education. There was also a sculptor's apprenticeship, where she learned to work with clay, glass and metal. Since she practiced a lot of sports since her childhood, she is best known for her sports sculptures. In addition, she carried out many works for church equipment . She undertook study trips to Palestine , Egypt , India , Nepal , Mexico , Indonesia , USA and Japan , where she was inspired for her art. Her exhibitions were in Frankfurt , Cologne, Berlin , Basel , Dijon , Los Angeles and San Francisco to see. She was a member of the National Association of Visual Artists Rhineland-Palatinate ( BBK ) and the Association of Fine Artists on the Middle Rhine (AKM). Edith Peres-Lethmate died after a long illness on April 21, 2017 her hometown."
