I start painting at a very young age, but what I really really liked to do, was drawing, so naturally, my study culminated at the Fine Art Academy in Rome.
For those strange events in life, I married a Venezuelan handsome boy and after moving there, I fell in love with the incredible tropical flora and wanted to reproduce all that beauty in everyday home accessories so that anyone could enjoy it.
And so BettiB Design was born, I spent a lot of time searching for the best material, and finishes, so the wood placemats and coasters edges are laser cut for softening and esthetic purposes, and the designs are digitally printed and laminated for protection and easy way of cleaning, you just need a damp cloth and that it's all, your placemats are ready for the next opportunity because beauty can and has to be also functional to be really part of your daily life.
