Atelier Fu’una is the studio of artist, designer, and educator Kameko Branchaud. Kameko is from many places, but mostly Providence, Rhode Island. Her artistic practice interprets local histories, empirical observations, and herself as a specimen of cultural remix. Kameko earned her MA in Art + Design Education from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2014, with a concentration in community arts. Her mural "So Pretty it Hurts" won first place in the juried mural competition of 20 local artists in the 2017 Punto Urban Art Museum in Salem, MA. She has painted in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Florida, Guam, and California.
