Rast is a 27-year-old self-taught artist from France. After spending his youth drawing on his notebooks, he began to tag at 14 years old. Two years later he embarked on lettering with the blaze he chose: "For my blaze, I was inspired by my family name. And I like the letters that compose it. "
Despite everything, he abandoned lettering a decade ago and preferred to make portraits. Hip-hop is only part of his inspiration; his portraits are chosen from very varied, offbeat universes, such as his Bruce Lee, his Laurel and Hardy, his Mister Bean or even Jean Rochefort and Charles Aznavour which mark a stage in his artistic expression.
