Alice Rich identifies as a West Coast visual artist. Her semi-abstract landscape paintings capture the color and energy of her pacfiic coastal environment while exploring themes of nature, urbanization, and interconnectivity. She is represented by Studio 13 Fine Art, located in Vancouver, Canada. Her artwork is included in numerous private and public collections in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia. She spent her early professional life as a photographer and transitioned into full-time painting almost 20 years ago. Most recently, her inspiration comes from her Gabriola Island home, exploring trails with her dog Ellie and remaining active in her local arts communities. She graduated from the University of British Columbia and the Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
