Abundant African art (aaart) was born in 2007. It was founded on the realization that there was an opportunity for me to guide and train wire artists in Durban, in the manufacture of hand-beaded chandeliers and décor accessories.
Today we have a range of lighting, home accessories and South African fabric, online, which are produced by a small fulltime team consisting of me, Vincent Ngwenya & Bheki Mtshali, who have become master artists in their own rights. We also manufacture customized designer lighting to client specs when required. These clients include lodges, interior decorators and individuals. We have shipped to 5 of the 7 continents and pride ourselves on the fact that no order is too small.
