Creator Spotlight: Linski Design
Sam Linksi began Linski Design – Concrete Art after being deeply intrigued by raw materials in their natural, real form. His process doesn’t follow a strict set of rules, and he aims to stray away from conventional methods. Instead, he lets the materials speak for themselves. This allows his creative energy to always flow freely, resulting in unique concrete designs that range from mirrors, to furniture, to paintings. With a curious mind, Sam strives to design original works that spark awe in his clients. His designs become style savvy additions to homes and are often standout accent pieces. They ground living spaces and create a balanced dialogue between all elements of a room. Hear what Sam had to say about his process and how he incorporates his love of the natural world into his work.

The coolest thing about my process is…
I combine multiple techniques and materials in a creative way. I admire to become a master in every technique, and then I can ‘break the rules’ in my work.
I started my creative business in order to…
My aim was to keep people curious. The objects that we make in the studio are always bringing people to ask – “HOW DID YOU DO IT” When people are curious, and love the object, they will always want to keep these objects close to them.
I like being a part of Wescover because…
Wescover is a great platform to show original work, from real creators. This is a real home for makers, designers and creators. People who create have the opportunity to expose their work to the world in a intelligent, respective and clear way
The tools I would bring to a desert island would be…
I would bring a blank sketchbook and black pens. Sketching is the first step to realizing a thought for the future.
